Half of the U.S. population could have diabetes in 2020, says AOL News. That's 9 years away. Diabetes diagnoses are going through the roof.

How do you eat? Like the average American? That's going to end badly for you. Put down the soda and read this article. :):

Get healthy now. In ten years you could be sick as a dog and waiting in line for some government rationed Obamacare.

And millions would die of N1H1 virus a couple of years ago. Or is it H1N1? Guess it really doesn't matter as they blew that one. How can anyone trust these doomsday preachers?

I thought AIDS was going to get into the heterosexual community and kill half the population of the US off by now... I think I might detect a pattern here, but I am not quite sure...

I don't know if their estimates are right, but its a good opportunity to raise awareness and start being a little more conscious about your diet. Ashkelon is correct, just look at all the fat people. Don't get me started on our obesity rates. lol

Unlike most fear mongering, this one actually makes sense.

People eat a lot of sugar and don't exercise. The logical outcome is type 2 diabetes.

Especially when your body becomes insulin resistant due to all the sugary foods we eat.

Go to your cubboard now and see how many foods contain some form of syrup.

You can laugh, but obesity and diabetes is a serious thing today.

Biggest cause is not only the sugar. But TV. Moderation is key. Get off your fat ass and walk around while you eat your milky way. Don't sit in front of the tv and eat it.

    It's just pure laziness.

Go to your cubboard now and see how many foods contain some form of syrup.

The average American obliviously consumes corn syrup every day, sometimes for every single meal.

Corn syrup is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window, or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes...
