My question is has anybody bought the chinese copycat verson of the halo 552? Why I ask is most of our electronics come from there anyhow so who has got the copy cat and how does it work compared to the real deal?

It is for an airsoft gun.
I imagine it would not survive much recoil let alone simply just not lasting any amount of time.

Buy the real deal. Used or new, you won't ever regret buying the real product.

The "Halo 552" IS the copycat; it is a poor quality knockoff of the EOTech 552 HOLOsight (note spelling). Friends don't let friends put airsoft toy optics on real rifles...

I don't know what "Ment" is, but this isn't it...

EDIT: And the ad for another product under it calls a toy gun display rack a "Unique Cristmas Gift." (Spelling intact.)

Shop somewhere that knows English; you'll be better off for it.

The other thing is if you buy used and don't like it, you can usually resell it for what you paid for it. You would be out nothing. If you buy a POS knockoff and you don't like the Eotech platform, you are just out the cash. Oh wait, there are fools who will buy the knockoff from you, my bad.
