Went with a friend to a local range up north yesterday and just for kicks I brought my 500 S&W along. After shooting my AR for a bit along comes another shooter with his .454 Raging Bull. I've had some interests in scoping mine so I had to take a look at his. Needless to say it was fun and this is not something you see everyday.

I bought my Raging Bull in .454 Casull around 2002 I think.
It was a fluke purchase. I was not expecting to buy a firearm.

I stopped home one day for lunch. Not something I make a habit out of, but this was the case this day.

I had no sooner parked my car on the street in front of my apartment and climbed the stairs when I heard a loud CRUNCH!
I ran out to my balcony to see a car plastered into the side of mine.

Long story short, after the insurance settlement, and bringing all of my bills to current, I hit my local gun shop, and there it was.

I had just enough money left from my settlement to purchase that brand new Raging Bull.
It's now taken a half dozen or so deer, but the best times are the looks at the range.

EVERYTHING stops when you pull the trigger on that thing. 60,000psi +/- really sends out a shock wave.

I do love them big bores.
