Happy New Year INGO. How did you (or did you) celebrate?

Happy New year everybody. Here's hoping it's a good one. God knows we need it.

Just wondering what everyone did to ring in the new year. As a VFW commander, that's where I was.
We did a Dick Clark style party. I had my stereo set up and was jamming rock classics of the 60s, 70, & 80 all evening.
A good, safe, fun time was had by all. It was like America was still going strong... and it was, at least for us.

Happy New Year's fellow INGOers!

Went out for a late lunch / early dinner, then came home and watched football. Actually some great games, and I'm far from a rabid fan.

Here is to hoping all have a healthy, prosperous, and happy 2023.

I was asleep at like 9:45. For awhile.

The neighborhood sounded like a freakin urban battle from midnight to 12:30 AM or so.

Watched CFB all day. At midnight threw a pork shoulder on the smoker and went to bed.

Haven't done the whole party thing since my school days.

I actually stayed up till midnight for the first time in years. It was just as anticlimactic as I remembered, but I've finally learned how to be hangover free the next day!

we are celebrating a tad late this year, our daughter us coming over today and taking my car for a bit, Hers is going into the shop tomorrow for power steering work and to get a new blend door installed. we will have snacks and my famous egg rolls while she is here.

I spent the evening sipping several bourbons and watching Ohio State lose. Just doesn't get much better than that.
