Yes...completely...When i'm getting shot at or blown up, or surrounded in a bazar the last thing in the world i want is someone who doesnt want to be there. Being in those situations i can say that if you dont want to be there you wont do your job. Watching corpsman and fellow marines run through literally a mine field to get to a casualty with no regard for their own life (while tactically retarded) is something you will not get from some kid who wants no part of it.

Well said. We had one guy in our whole battalion who refused to get deployed when the order came in. He just happened to be in our company, our platoon, my squad. The hate switch got flipped immediately and it was a very good thing that guy didn't go over there because he's have buddy F%$ed us over in a heartbeat. I don't have any issue with people who don't want to serve and I'd much rather they were nowhere to be found when bad things happen. Part of the honor of having served, is that we asked for it.
