No, but I have heard great tales of their awesomeness. I have been looking for one in .40 that takes G22 mags. Everyone is sold out. I was quoted 310 for it at my local dealer, but they can't get their hands on one. It seems the 9 may be easier to come by. Good luck in your search sir, let me know if you find one in 40. Reviews are very positive on these, our own JohnP82 owns one and loves it. PM him, or I'm sure he'll be along shortly.

I have one that takes Glock mags. Mine is .40 S&W since both my Glocks are .40 cal. I love it!!!!! :rockwoot: I can put all shots on an 8"x8" target at 50 yards. I love shooting mine. No issues with reliability for me and pretty accurate.

You might want to check with Bradis Guns. They had both when I was there a couple of weeks ago. Those will be long gone, but they may have more.

Yes, Shooter521 said they had them in a post about the sub2k a week or so ago. If I had the time I would have snatched it up.

I have one of the early Sub-2000 and really have fun with it. I did install a soft rubber butt-pad because it does have a snap to it, but other than that is a lot of fun. Fairly accurate considering how poor the factory sights are, but that is easily fixed.

The way it folds makes cleaning the barrel a breeze, and the folded size makes it a great "truck-gun".

Someone tried to get me to shoot one once but I could run faster than they could.

That particular one couldn't get on paper without breaking loose the front sight band and resetting it properly centered. But that is par for Kel-tec's course.

It does fold in half though.

I have shot them on a couple different occasions. IME, they are accurate enough (member KEHO bought one earlier this year, and right out of the box we were ringing the farthest gong at MCF&G - 100 yards, maybe? - off-hand) and reliable, but are a PITA to detail strip; I recommend not doing it if at all possible. Being lightweight and blowback-operated, they do deliver a bit more "thump" to the shoulder than one would expect out of a pistol caliber, and the stock/buffer tube arrangement isn't the most comfortable in the world, but there are aftermarket products that can help out with that.

Has anyone shot a Kel-tec Sub-2000 in 9mm? Are they accurate and reliable? I'm thinking about getting one that takes Glock mags.

I could easily keep round on a pie plate at 100 yards. The front sight isn't great, but it is a unique form factor and a cool firearm.

There are a couple threads with everyone's experience that you can find with search.

I've looked at them in passing and would like to check them out closer due to the size and "fold-ability". I see them in .40 on GB all day long. I also would require .40 since 2 of my handguns and my CX4 are .40......I'm curious about the mags, I've heard that the model that takes glock mags also takes beretta mags? Sounds odd to me since the ones on GB will either say one or the other, but not both any info on that issue? Can I get one that take XD mags or at least mod one?

Not sure if my memory is 100%, but I thought the Glock mag angle was unique and grip couldn't be changed. But some of the others could change mag models with small grip change, due to similar angles. You may be able to find more info on ktog.org.

Correct. The models that take the Glock mags cannot be changed to accept other type mags. The Sub 2000’s that take S&W, Beretta or Sig mags can be changed to accept any of those three types of mags. When I got mine it came from the factory to take Beretta mags. I called Kel-Tec the they sent me free a mag release for S&W mags to install and now it will share mags with my P11.

That $289.95 is the opening bid on an auction that just started. Even if it sells at that price, you've still got shipping, and your FFL's receiving fee to consider. Given the guns only go for about $309-329 locally, it's not that good of a deal.

Firstly, my post was rushed and missing some critical facts, you're right. But yes, I know about shipping and transfers.
If you find one for 300 locally, buy it and forget this, I haven't seen it...who knows though.

    Anyways.....that link on gunbroker...

$285 bought on the phone, with 20 dollars shipping instead of 30. Worth a call.

    I have a sub-2k in 40s&w that takes g22 mags. It's actually the reason I'm buying a glock 22.

Fun little gun, there are some issues with the kel-tec quad rail that is supposedly resolved but a fun little gun to shoot and very accurate considering it folds in half, and takes pistol ammo.

a good thread to check out
