Been kicking around the idea on what to get next as far as handguns go... potentially looking for a Gen 1 P99 AS in 9mm but it seems like there is nothing on gunbroker for the current price on them, I also checked Gunsamerica and armslist to get an idea on price but again found nothing. Have these become harder to find or what?:):

The only thing that bugs me about mine is the aggressive trigger curve. Put a hundred rounds down range and it starts to bug me. Excellent shooter now that the trigger is broke in. Out of the box it was horrible.

It's pretty rare to see the AS trigger anywhere, yes. It seems that most Americans really prefer that Glock-style nonsense QA. The one opportunity I had to fire a P99AS, I really, really liked it. But I am admittedly very biased toward DA/SA.

    One niggle...

ALL 1st Gen P99 pistols are going to have the "AS" trigger...as it was the only trigger offered. They weren't called P99-AS, just P99. No biggie in the scheme of things.

I still see them come up for sale every once in a while on here and on Glocktalk. But you're right not too much any more. That goes for ANY P99.

Keep your eyes open, they'll turn up.
