This works for me too.I use Flonase. No problems. Works great
I've suffered through spring hayfever since birth. Local honey helps, as does nettle tea but neither comes close to the nose spray.

You never heard of it because pharma can’t make money. When was the last time a cure was found. Only treatments with more bad side effects than what they are treating.
Did you answer the previously posted question on what type of nettles? I never heard of this and allergies seem worse than normal this year.
This has NEVER worked for me or my family I would like to try some stinging nettle but I would die trying to find itBuy and consume local honey. Has to be local (that’s what’s in the air around you and the plants effecting you. Seems to calm the storm.
Mine is molds like grass mold and some hay fever. I don’t think anything helps with the grass mold. The honey works the hay fever unless I am walking across a field of weeds.
Yes. Many harvest enough to last for a year. They don’t even do it for allergies. But for all the good stuff that’s in it. Many consider nettles as king of all plants. Has more good stuff in it than any vegetable. I saw one unable to grow spinach so plants nettles and cooks it and apparently has about same taste but good stuff. I tried some fried in butter. When it’s warm it does have a earthy smell and taste. But when really cold it’s almost odorless and tasteless to me. I plan on drinking it year round just for the nutrition like many others now.So once it is dried I am assuming you can store in a cool dark place for an extended period? My daughter has extreme seasonal allergies. And the doctor has given her a myriad of medications.

Where gloves...LOL. I take some pruning snips and garbage bag. I cut top 12-14" and throw in bag. Then later I take string and tie them in small bundles and hand them on a line in my carport, out of sun and will ventilated. 4-7 days of drying. Make sure they are a true stinging nettle, and the younger they are the better. There are other fake nettles including white snake root, which even has fake stingers but they don't sting, that stuff will kill you literally. The older stinging nettle begins to look different. So do a little research and be sure...I accidentally harvested some white snake root and threw it all out. Once you know what to look for your good....and then if your not sure rub some on you. If it stings you got the right stuff. Watch some you tube videos...there are several to learn. There is only one that talks about white snake root....it saved my life. The herb books and many video leave vital info out like what is fake. Just a heads up.any tips on harvesting?
I'm sympathetic to what you're saying and believe there are plenty of examples, although in this particular case I did benefit from a treatment of allergy shot therapy (where they inject with small doses of the stuff you're allergic to). It took a couple years of weekly, then biweekly, then monthly shots, but I just don't have the reactions that I used to. A splash of Nasacort a day is enough to get me through allergy season without noticing. You never heard of it because pharma can’t make money. When was the last time a cure was found. That’s great! Glad to help . It’s a life changer for me. My update is no hayfever this year. Worse it got was blowing my nose once in the morning. My eyes often swell shut and many sleepless night even when heavy on claritan. Took nothing but drinking nettle tea. It’s just amazing. Thanks to this thread and those that suggested nettles!!
I have had very bad hay-fever forever. August to october seasonal shots and sometimes make it through with daily Clariton-D.
After reading this thread, I tried "Stinging Nettle Leaf Capsules - 500mg Organic Stinging Nettles Leaf Pure Mountain Botanicals" found on amazon. I take one capsule a day and so far have had no symptoms at all and have not taken anything else for allergies. Almost unbelievable for me but it is working.
Thanks for the postings in this thread!
