BS, he's only ~20* to the right of the shooter's POA. I wouldn't frigging stand there.

180 degrees my arse, HOP is right I'd say 25* to the shooter at best. That's like standing 10 feet away from Mario Andretti as he's zipping past you going 180 mph and you say He's the best driver in the world he'll never hit me. Good luck with that logic.

    I don't think you're understanding the 180. :n00b:

This isn't a Yeager video, if the camera operator wasn't in a safe location, they wouldn't have ran the stage.

It may be Max's head cam, it's FOV is wider than a normal camera, making it look like the camera man is close to 180º than he actually is.

Still well behind the 180. :dunno:

I'd rather stand there with a world champion shooter behind the trigger than be in the same range when some people are shooting.

Yep. He's behind the 180, no issue.

You're at more risk on your morning commute than that guy is.

An STI 2011, probably with a heavily modified SIG slide. The slide cuts look kinda like Matt Cheely did them, but I'm not sure about that.

SIG doesn't make anything that'd be competitive in Open.

Sig purchased several frames from STI, marked Sig (and STI) and had Dan Bedell build Max several opens guns

    (Cheely learned from Dan)

Phoenix Trinity has sent Max several of their aluminum and stainless grips for him to try at Max's request.

Sig does now make a Max Michel model 1911 and it is shipping now
(funny consider that he has only shot the SS Nationals once and a few SS matches leading up to the SS Nat's this year)
