As old people die and young people fill their places it is important to make sure knowledge transfer takes place.
Soon the season of half price heaters will be upon us, yes they do exist. I have so many, while I was posting in another thread I kept remembering just how many are in my winter gear rubbermaids or my garage. I can't resist a half price heater.
I think this year I may try for the White Buffalo of heater deals, something like a Zodiac or Coleman water heater for half price.
One year I ended up getting a standard Heater Buddy for $10.
So here is the deal, between now and when all the heaters are gone from the shelves, usually Late February in big bx stores, post any deals you see in a store or online. Even if you don't need them, other people do and we all just took a pay cut so money counts. Many homes just took a $1300 to $2600 annual pay cut. That buys a LOT of preps.
Just heaters and water heaters, they must be portable meaning one person can easily move or load them. Any fuel source. When the thread is done we will all decide who found the best deal. Then I will override your votes and decide who really won.
We will come up with a prize, maybe reps for that person and a box of .22 ammo? Anyone who benefits from this thread and saves big money can donate $1 to the prize fund. If we collect enough money I will buy myself a lower.
