Started with 300 grit and worked up to 2000. Some polishing using a brass media polisher.

Took me 3 hours for the slide. Started with 300 grit and worked up to 2000

That looks nice. Do you have to treat the bare metal with anything? Will is be prone to rusting anymore than normal?

I think the slide on the P238 is stainless to begin with (before they add Nitron), so corrosion protection probably isnt an issue

My Sig P238 is definately one of my favorite carry pistols. However, my shooting favorite is my Sig P230.
