Thanks for the welcomes -- I have a question about something that seems odd to me. I was trying to create my forum signature as this, but it says it's too long. It seems shorter than some of the sigs I see. Is there a newbie limit or something? Is this really too long or am I making a dumb newbie mistake?

My best idea is that the system checking sig length is counting the hidden formatting on the text as part of the overall length. Based on what you pasted that's an extra 44 characters.

Try removing the font/italic and if that works, go from there, squeezing in what you can fit.
