Hello from Gas City!

I'm new to firearms so i'm trying to do things right. Get as much info as possible and be smart about it. I own a Walther p99QA .40 that an employer gave three years ago. The large caliber intimidated me so I put it up in my closet. After christmas I decided I needed to learn to shoot. Last week I bought a Walther P22. I am gooing to get my carry permit after taxes come back. Is there a conservation or gun club near me? Thanks for your time!
