Hey there, I’m a young dentist practicing at the Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. I would love to learn about waterfowl hunting. Any suggested resources would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to being a part of this community.

    Hello and :welcome:

Find the breakfast diners near the large lakes and talk to the duck hunters.

DNR has some great info in print and on line.

Get out to row crop country in migration season and see where the birds lay up.

If you don’t have a small boat, get one. Find a partner with same likes, two heads are better than one.

Talk to farmers in feeding areas, the wetter the better, get permission well in advance. You can never have to much permission on private ground.

    Good luck this season.
