Hello from Oregon! (But coming back home to Indiana)

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Brad, and I am originally from Elkhart. I'm currently in Portland, OR for college but will be returning in a few weeks to move back home.


I do have a question if anyone could help, or direct me to another thread.

So when I moved to Oregon, I had to get my Oregon DL so I could apply for my CHL. When I come back, will I have to wait a certain amount of time to become a technical Indiana citizen again to apply for my LTCH? The first day I'm back I was planning on getting my IN driver's license again, and if I can, apply for my LTCH.

Think I'll have to wait, or should I be able to go right away and apply? (Only been gone about 10 months.)

Welcome to INGO. Not sure about your question, but I assume you'd need an IN address. I don't think it's like applying to a university where you have to prove residency for a certain amount of time.

Anyway, hope you're enjoying Portland. I love that part of the country.
