In addition to INGO, being that you are from Valparaiso (as am I) you might want to look into membership at NPCCC (North Porter County Conservation Club). Just North of Valpo near where Calumet Ave comes down the hill to intersect with the Bypass... Shotgun, 3 pistol, and a rifle range.... Not only is it close by, but its a great group of like minded shooters...
