Its kind of comical, I retooled from a 300 WinMag to handle 22TCM. Laugh all you want, but, its fun.

Anyways, I have a problem. I don't have the ability to neck size, so, I'm running them up into the FL sizer staying about a nickels thickness from bottom. It neck sizes enough to hold the bullet (a 35gr ballistic tip spitzer). But, the problem: it won't whack the primer hard enough to make it go off most of the time. Maybe I need to switch to small pistol primers? I just don't think they'll hold the pressure when I start pushing it.

It fires the factory rounds flawlessly.

Has anyone ever reloaded the 22TCM? Its like a baby 222. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve loaded 22TCM, and it’s never given me issues. I can’t figure out what you’re trying to do here though.

Sounds interesting, can you provide some pics to show context?

I'm also confused. Are you saying your press isn't pushing the primers into the case enough so when you try to fire them your firing pin is seating the primers instead of igniting them? First off, what kind of press are you using?
