    Hey guys,

I just bought a used remington 870 express and it came with a rifled/cantilevered barrel and scope.
the scope in question only has remington markings on the adjustment caps.
Anyone know who actually makes the scope and what the specs are?
    its a 2-7x32

    thanks
    kwood

What specs are you looking for? The lowest zoom setting makes the target appear 2x closer than it is in real life. The highest zoom setting is 7x so it makes the target appear 7x closer than it is in real life. The objective lens is 32mm. This mainly deals in light transmission.

If your looking for things like internal travel, FOV, etc you will probably never know unless you test them yourself. Scopes like that dont do a lot of quality control so they will vary from scope to scope.

Yeah i guess im expecting a bit much huh ;)
the main thing i wanted to find out was the eye relief.
it seem to have to lean forward a ton to get the proper scope view

Most free scopes have shorter eye relief. Can you move the scope back in the rings? If not my recommendation would be to deal with it for awhile. Its not uncommon for free scopes to be worth exactly what you paid for them, and have them give up the ghost within a year. Chances are (not 100% certainty) the scope will break (especially on a slug gun) so you wont have to deal with it long.
