My mostly uneducated guess is an eastern red cedar.

I think Juniper as well. Crunch some of it up and see if it smells like gin.

Was it planted or did it come up as a volunteer?
Do you have limestone bedrock or limestone-derived soils?

Probably eastern red-cedar.

It's dogwood, you can tell by it's bark.

probably red cedar, they grow almost anywhere in the state.. wait till winter & see if it turns "brown" .. if so it is ceder, and that is normal..
the young tree needles do not look like the adult needles.. so it is sometimes confused with something else..
