    I'll go against the flow and say he'll be 3 1/2 this fall. He's a young'n still, but the hams, chest, antlers and face point towards a 3 year old to me. He has some depth to his chest, but not a lot of brisket. No belly yet, either. Once the velvet is off, and he starts filling out this fall it will be easier to tell.

    I hunt a small piece of property near daleville. Two years ago I watched a deer about that size make it all the way to Christmas eve. I had numerous opportunities to shoot him and so did my brother in law. We both agreed not to take him so we didn't but on Christmas eve on my way to my parents house I helped a guy drag him off the road. So just remember. It not just hunters you have to worry about.
