If you don't mind a slightly shorter 12.75" LOP, several onsite vendors like Bud's, Classic Arms and Whittakers are blowing out the now discontinued Youth model for $450-$495.

I had a chance to check out one of the clearance youth models. The sights are vastly improved. The original sights were a thick fixed rear notch and front blade. both black. The newer, now discontinued youth model has an all metal rear blade with two dots and it is adjustable for windage via two tiny screws on the left and right sides. The front has a fiber optic rod and is adjustable in a similar fashion for elevation.

Sounds like the sights are like the ones on the carbine models.

Well... While this rifle is definitely in the near-mid future, a buy today pushed it back a bit... Henry single-shot in .357mag.
