There are so many great options in that price range. The There's the Mercedes CLA45 AMG, the Subaru WRX STI, and the Cadillac CTS have not been mentioned. I honestly second the Jeep Idea!

Love my 2015 Jetta TDI but considered scary and evil due to the 575000 running around in this country supposedly killing the world. Lucky I got mine before all the hoopla.

The SS has often been compared to one of the most awesome cars ever built. E39 M5.

    I vote for the SS.
If not the SS, Ford fusion would be on my list as well.

You need to figure out what you want in a vehicle. Do you want AWD, FWD or RWD; Performance, luxury, reliability, gas mileage...

So your saying buying a car is like buying a gun you need to go out and test different makes and models to see what you like and not what the popularity poll says?

From another G8 owner, Chevy SS. Large, comfy, can get a proper manual, still relatively simple mechanically.

If you want all wheel drive in a car I'd look at the Tarus SHO or Regal GS though the regal may be a little small.
