"Pre-owned" is just a euphemism for "used", like "available" is a euphemism for "optional" and "lease" is for "rent". It's just marketers and their syrup.

This is easy, always go for the pre-owned.

See, think of it like a spouse. Would you rather have a "used" spouse or a "pre-owned" spouse.

The "used" spouse is generally worn down and now useless, as they've been "used" and thus thrown away now that they are worn out.

However, the "pre-owned" spouse has sought and found freedom, thus breaking the shackles of matrimony in order to seek true harmony. They are on their second wind and good to go.

I hope this helps settle the matter.

    Regards and Happy New Year,

"Pre-owned", semantics, fancy way of saying "used". Spin, jargon, whatever you want to call it. Maybe the "used" is a little cheaper because it doesn't sound as smooth? :)

I prefer the term 'post-new'. Used...a slut. Pre-owned is racist and smacks of slavery. Or maybe it smacks of slavery and so is racist. But post-new...that's just right and fits well in the current feminist #me too BLM white privilege narrative.
