Ok. Not my gun. Don't have one.
    I don't know about them.
From what I understand, they use 10 round magazines, and can be reloaded wit 5 round clips.

Anyway, we can't seem to find any. Everplace seems to show none in stock.

Anyone know where he can find some?
Any info he needs to know when buying to make sure he doesn't buy one that doesn't fit his gun?

1 Lee Enfield Rifles and Parts -

You need to find out what flavor it is and go from there. This site should help. I'm no expert on the enfield. The only thing I've done is replace the rear sight on mine with help from the internets. I would ask about return restocking if it doesn't work out. Shotgun News is also another good source. Sorry I can't help more.

Buy clips, but don't worry about the magazines. The magazines were never meant to be used to reload with. They're only removable so they can be cleaned and serviced.

Each magazine needs separately tuned to its particular rifle, and the feed lips are fairly fragile. Swapping them out is likely to lead to a lot of feeding issues.

That's the reason the magazines are so expensive. There just weren't so many extras made since they were a spare part in the British system.

Do need the stripper clips or the rifle magazine or both?

I have to print these pages up and go talk to the guy.
Been busy with work, charity gaming licensing for my Legion, paying bills, etc.

I do appreciate everyone's help. And will mention once he's decided.

Just so you know Traildust in Bloomingtin has/had stripper clips (2 for $3). Also on a side note they have spike bayonets ($12)and slings($10?) and if i remember correctly ammo pouches.

I still need to print this info out, but I talked to the guy today. (Army Vietnam vet).
    He appreciates the help.
And he is looking for a magazine. Someone lost the mag. So he'd be interested in a mag, and maybe a few clips.

Like I said, I'll give him this info.
    Thank you everyone.
