FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry will hold a news conference Monday where he and other government officials will call on President Obama and Congress to take steps to end gun violence.

Henry will be joined at noon in his office by Angola Mayor Richard Hickman who is a member of Mayors Against Illegal Guns. Karen Freeman-Wilson, the mayor of Gary and Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan will be unable to attend. Both are also members of Mayors Against Illegal Guns and support Mayor Henry.

"Mayors Against Illegal Guns" is an absolutely brilliant name in the realm of politics and public relations.

Oppose any of the Mayors' positions about gun regulations, and one might logically deduce that you are *for* illegal guns, when in fact EVERYBODY, including law-abiding gun owners, are against illegal guns.
