I did see on fox it said obama has said he is committed to reinstating an awb. Wouldnt doubt it now but i still hope for the best

You werent around for the last one that expired in 2004?

Any "pre-ban" rifles were legal to keep once the ban started and were legally able to be transferred/sold to others at a premium ...just because they were "pre-ban". No more 30rd magazines were legal to be made for non LEO/Military but were legal to own if they were "pre-ban", they also were legal to sell to others...at a premium. So basically all the gov did was drive up prices.
