Here's what I did.

I just finished writing letters (actual paper) to the following people:

President Barack Obama
Governor Mitch Daniels
Senator Dick Lugar
Senator Daniel Coats
Representative Andre Carson
State Senator Scott Schneider
Lt. Governor Becky Skillman

My letters were in regards to the cries for more gun control and my unwavering support of the Second Amendment.


Did it take a long time? Yes, kind of!

What would you rather see: another 10 yr Assault Weapons Ban (possibly longer or indefinite) or would you rather spend an hour of your time engaging your representatives?

I know everyone on here is passionate about the second amendment, and that most people take action in ways that they see fit. I just want to remind everyone to get out there and LET THEIR VOICE BE HEARD.

I would rather waste my voice and know that I tried rather than sit by as they enact the next AWB.

I got Donnelly, Burton and Coats. I figured with Daniels and Lugar on the way out of office, writing them wouldn't amount to much. I might try Pence though.

Emailed Todd Rokita. He agrees that what happened in Newtown isn't about the guns. I find him very pro-2A.
