Sadly true. and this is exactly why they strive to control the teachers unions......so that they can raise another generation of entitlement minded dem voters.

Taking it one step further:
Tenure in colleges. So that just in case the High School indoctrination doesn't stick, then they can bombard them with Liberalism during another period of personal growth and maturing.

There's no desire to help people make up their own minds anymore. No incentive to look into things yourself....just believe Chris Matthews, believe Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. After all, they're so incredibly smart and have the "inside the beltway" knowledge that us peons could never attain.

In medicine, there's an unofficial term called "circling the drain". It seems apt to put it here when we speak of our grand Republic.
