I got an HK-contract bipod with a janky leg. It is new old stock that I picked up on GB.

It was no problem getting it on the stock, getting it centered and locked. There is no play towards the forearm with the leg pointing into space.

Is there a way I can adjust this?

Should I return it and ask for my money back?

It doesn't look right, but mine never line up correctly with those dents either. Can you play with the tilt and get it to line up better?

I've handled numerous original HK Bipods and clones through the years. All of them have fit and lined up well with the groove on the handguard within reason.

The pictured one you have there looks rather "Tweeked".

Just send him back your gay bipod and have him ship you a straight one. :)
