The Circus is coming to NY City.
Chucky Schummer is demanding $75 million for protection and security. I will bet anyone that that does not cover one third of the money needed to keep NY safe. Even then, great economic, social, political and moral damage will be perpetrated on this country.

As 95% of all Guantamo detainee's were NOT captured on the field of battle I must wonder exactly how Senator Graham gets away with such a false presumption of fact in a question such as this.

If Senator Graham is speaking regarding Khalid Sheikh Mohammad then there is a 100% certainty that he was not captured in battle, but rather by Pakistan over six (6) years ago on March 1st, 2003.

I am all for putting a bullet through his head if he is guilty of what he has been charged with, although a rope would be fiscally more responsible as it is reusable.

However, no one should sit in prison for six (6) years without a trial.

I may be alone on my island in my bunker here, but I do not think the United States is so pathetically weak that we cannot handle these folks in a trial.

    Regards,

    Doug

It will not be a trial. It will be an examination of how far we will bend over for the muslim world. Every jihadist, bomber, wacko, and lawyer will have a platform to spew hatred and lies. It will be a long, drawn out condemnation of America.
With our economy in freefall, our industries and banks failing, and the corruption among politicians, I don't know if this country can survive a "Trial" for two - three years.

I think what bothers me the most is that now some Lawyer from NYU is going to have CIA agents and whoever was involved with catching these guys on the stand answering any number of questions about how they did it and who helped them and so on. It's almost a sure bet that Obama's men will do nothing to protect the security of the country and the safety of the agents and aides by keeping some things private.

Eris Holder looked like the idiot he is in this video. In typical liberal fashion, he would not directly answer the question, but stuttered and stammered around it.

I fear that the terrorists may make yet another strike in NYC to make a point when this trial is going on. It would be far better to have this trial on a military base where access could be tightly controlled. Especially NOW after recent events have woken up the Pentagon to the enemy within.

    Great video Annie.

What we are about to do is wrong, we are setting ourselves up. This will be no trial it will be a circus and I'm betting some terrorists will bring fireworks. All once again in true Democrat style, at the expense of the taxpayer.:twocents:

If by destroyed you mean wasted breath which did nothing, then yeah, you're absolutely right.

    "Sound and fury, signifying nothing."

Holder will still have the job, and even after he bollocks up this whole ************ process, he'll still have the job. Lindsey Graham, career politician as foil to Holder's current inept role as Attorney General, will still have his job, despite not doing much for the rights of we, the People... it's all a dog show paraded in front of the masses to give the illusion that something, anything politically-useful or expedient, is being done... because the truth would terrify and disgust us: there's hardly anything being done, at all... and what little that is would horrify even Joseph Stalin in its intent and outcome.

But the inevitable, inexorable response from our leaders to 'crime' and 'violence' and the generally-bad events and occurrences in life is to make the supposedly-contributory events, factors, and/or circumstances of those 'bad' occurrences 'illegal', and then to tax whatever activities or services or goods or products they can think to tax, and then wonder why it doesn't work - why these taxes which are socialism incarnate - don't work.

... and then we have non-sensical vagueries and anathema spouted off by the intended-to-be-foremost legal mind in our nation which just prove my point: this whole country has backslid into a banana Republic. May 'god' save America, because Lord knows we're not going to do it ourselves....

This isn't a crook this was the enemy and last time I checked they don't get released until the end of the war, if they get let go then.

They are not entitled to a trial in our federal system.

I'm glad he put Nick Berg on trial... oh wait.
