I can't believe what 30 rnd. Mags are actually selling for on eBay! I could retire early if I liquidated at these prices! The 1500 should be interesting in January.

I looked on Ebay at AK mags. 10 round magazines are bidding around $22, buy it now $40. 30 round magazines are bidding around $40, buy it now $60. Ridiculous.

I am sure the 1500 is gonna be a mad house for all the newbies running for the AK, AR and SKS's. I just hope I can get to look at a few things before the madness begins

I picked up some 30 round Tapcos for my AK and was lucky to get those because they had just arrived. I was limited to 5 and the dealer said those would definitely be gone by the end of the day. Pull you seatbelts tight; I think we're in for a bumpy ride.

I was thinking of purchasing an AK and a few mags at the 1500. I don't consider myself a newbie, exactly. Is there a good reason to wait?

I think you are going to find that prices are at a peak and supply is in a valley.

If you limited the availability of cow **** and told people that they might not be able to get any next year, I think you'd see it go for upwards of $50.00 per pound.

You're gonna be paying about $200+ over the actual value. Would be best to wait 6 months or so for prices to drop, unless you have a real fear of an awb and need a rifle.

Used USGI AR mags were priced at $40 at the Greenfield show yesterday. I saw one stripped lower marked $400 and parts ARs were marked $1500-2000! Trying to remember what the 223 was marked but it was so high I think it just wouldn't register in my brain. I think it was $800... :dunno:

Luckily I didn't see a whole lot of buying going on at those ridiculous prices, besides this is Greenfield, not many high rollers here.

You cannot sell magazines on eBay that hold more than 10 rounds
Someone should tell that to all people doing it then.

The next auction to end is for 4 beat up aluminum 30rd. AR mags
They look like they've been on fire.
10 min. left, 13 bids, currently at $177.50
(But that does include free shipping!)

Yep, they list them as accepting 10 rounds but you can tell they are much bigger than that.:D
