I wonder where it went wrong? Ive seen those made and this is the first injury ive heard of. Galvanized stronger than black? (or vice versa) Did the dumbass use PVC? Magnum shells? Inquiring minds want to know.

Iirc both pipes are similar except the galvanized pipe has a zinc coating and the black pipe doesn't. It's been awhile since I've messed with them. Galvanized is used for water and black is used for gas.

I worked in Greenwood for a spell...Commuted daily from Scottsburg.....Got teased about my accent and had hillbilly jokes thrown at me all day....

The southern counties need to secede...There are some good INGO folks up in Canada though.....
