I have an M1 Carbine loaded and readily accessible, my kids know how to use it. They'll leave the higher recoil weapons to me. The family that shoots together had interlocking fields of fire.

Stack-On 18 gun cabinet in the corner of the bedroom. Not instantaneous access but give me a minute and my PSA AR will be locked and loaded.
