Just looking at 00 buck 12 ga ammo. Came across three different types of federal ammo that all seem about the same. Anyone know what the difference is. I cant find it anywhere.

Also, is there a big difference between low recoil (1200fps) and regular or magnum (1300fps+)... I know certain guns (like the remington 1100) require the higher power shells... but for a pump shot gun... is there any real difference?

Finally, you CANT use 00 buck shot for deer season in Indiana correct. Slugs only.

    Thanks! :rockwoot:

The low recoil rounds are my choice for home defense. 00Buck in any load style "Power Shock", "Vital Shock" or "Home Defense" are good loads. I would choose the lower recoil rounds because they would help me to stay on target for faster follow ups.
