    Lovemywoods, those pvc stands look a lot like the ones on The Box O' Truth. He made his a little bigger so he could staple silhouette targets to the posts. I was thinking of building them and doing the same thing you did, make a full rectangle on the bottom instead of one end remaining open. What did you use to cut the pipe?

    Hell, PVC cuts so easily I actually built mine with just a mitre box & saw.

    Also used PVC glue/cement to weld the permanent joints. Though that may be unnecessary for your application; the idea of mine was to be sturdy enough to withstand windy days and hold wide targets, while being light enough to carry, and collapsible enough to fit in the trunk of a car or use for pistol shooting.
