When I was banned all you could see on the site was a big message saying you weren't authorized to be here or something like that. That was over a year and a half ago so I don't remember so well but you couldn't get on the forum at all.

If he actually isn't permitted to post right now, I'd have to imagine it's temporary. I know a lot of people (including some mods) don't like what he has to say sometimes, but I've never seen him post anything that was even bordering on ban-worthy.
