I agree that it is frustrating. At the same time, if we allow ourselves to resort to emotions instead of facts, we are stooping to their level. I would imagine that the folks that introduced this bill in the Statehouse probably got an education on how it would not make any difference in crime, and would only negatively affect law abiding citizens.

Not saying we need to ignore the behavior or kill it with kindness, but we should acknowledge that those folks feel just as strongly about the topic as we do, just on the other side of it unfortunately. While faces and logic don't typically seem to help, it is where we need to continue to push. We won't win any of the emotional based arguments.
