How are your roads?

Our local schools are closed(wife has the day off!), but the roads around here are wet...so far.

Just saw a snowplow truck without the plow. Good planning and management right there. It was also full of salt and not spreading.

The Jeep is iced over. Both Hamilton and Washington schools are closed. Noblesville has icy roads

At 6:30 had pretty good layer of ice on my auto. Drove from westside to brownsburg (Crafordsville Rd) and it seemed ok. Few cars doing 25 in a 45, but all went well; it seemed well traveled when I was on it.

I'm not used to icy farm roads.....just bought new tires 2 weeks ago. :-) Hope it's a mild winter.

Kiddo's school is on a 2-hour delay. Wife should be leaving shortly to take her. We are pretty iced up, but I see things dripping, so it isn't a terribly hard freeze. Suspect the roads are just slick-ish. Cars on the county road are actually doing the speed limit, rather than 20 over.

From NE Morgan County to St. Vincent on 86th Street for an appointment then downtown to work, it was all an easy drive, if one were careful. Morgan County/Marion County/Indiana DOTs were on it. Excellent response, IMHO, for the first icy day.

Our schools were also on a 2-hour delay.
