I currently have a sig 226 mk25 that I love shooting but don't have a holster for it yet. I'm also very interested in getting a 229. I'm looking to Ingo to see how to see how you guys are carrying these guns and in what holster?

Bladetech IWB. I also like their Eclipse OWB.

    For leather:

Custom work from Red Nichols. Currently he only sells to LEOs, though.

My 226 is usually carried in a Galco Fletch. I have been very happy with it so far. Either gun will feel really heavy without the right belt and holster though

Used to carry a 229 in a galco king tuck. Crossbreed or alien gear holsters would be about the same. Make sure you have a good gun belt for a sig, as they are a little heavier.

My Galco Avenger works well for my Sig P226 Mk 25. OWB leather holster with a vertical cant that angles the grip well for me at 3 O/Clock. The same holster also works for P220 full size and carry versions, so I would bet it would work for both a P226 and P229 with rails. One size fits most if you like your "P series" Sig's and it is worth buying a good belt also.
