esrice said:I recently got the idea to log what I do while signed onto INGO for a day. If for no other reason than to give folks a glimpse into what we all do on a daily basis. Keep in mind that we all have a slightly different style (I think VUPDblue has a goal of banning at least 1 person per day ), but we all perform the same basic duties.
Today, I . . . . .
And today was an EASY day! There are other days that include:
- Logged into INGO
- Read 3 new PMs, and responded where applicable
- Viewed one (1) new rep I had received
- Checked out the Intro forum
- Welcomed several new members
- Closed three (3) threads older than 24hrs
- Checked out the "Super Secret Mod Forum"
- Read a couple new Reported Posts, and saw that they had already been resolved by other Mods
- Read a thread flagged by another Mod, and moved it to the proper forum
- Added my 2 cents to a couple Mod topics
- Checked on a couple topics I had been posting in yesterday
- Posted a new thread in the Accessories and Gear forum
- Corrected a minor spelling mistake on a thread title
- Looked at both AR Open House threads for new posts
- Audited the Events forum, ensuring that guidelines were being followed
- Closed two (2) threads for past events that were older than 5 days since the last posting
- Checked the Forum Support/Suggestions forum to see if my input was needed
- Audited the Private Sales feedback forum, ensuring that guidelines were being followed
- Cleaned up two (2) titles for proper formatting (and searchability)
- Answered a PM request from an Advertising Supporter in regards to re-designing their web banner
- Surfed the Unread Posts and added my input/opinions to some
- Asked a new question in the Tactics and Training forum
- Composed a new thread about "A Day In The Life of an INGO Moderator"
- Closed off-track thread before it crashed AND burned
- Reluctantly infracted member for breaking hard-and-fast rules
- Pulled out hair, realizing that both sides of any argument will always share one thing in common: hating the Mods
- Tried to balance "fairness" with "family friendly"
My intention with this thread is not to pat myself on the back, so I'm going to go ahead and close it, leaving it "read only". I hope you have enjoyed this "glimpse", and continue to support INGO, as we strive to support YOU.
None of the above.
"New Posts".
I plant my feet firmly on Scutters back and grab his ears and we are off
With a lazy eye. You asked. How do you look at the best site on the web?
