How many Glock 17s can you spot in that picture?

I just came accross that picture ...

With the following caption "Austrian Glock 17 guns are seen as a French National Police Intervention Group member stands in the gun room[FONT=&amp]".

[/FONT]It's probably from a "gun expert" journalist/photographer.

I see a bunch of Sig SP2022s, Glock 26s, maybe a Glock 19 at the bottom (unless it's acually a 17?).

Ah, didn't notice the missing sight.

I think they are two 26 with a 19, the angle of the camera makes it look like the one on the far right has a longer grip.

I think the bottom row is a compact, and 2 subcompacts. I think the 6th from the right on the top row is a fullsize. I would not be able to tell if it is a 17 though.

That's the anti-terrorist unit of the French National Police.Well one of several (also BRI, BI, RAID etc).
They do carry lots of crap/gear!

Each officer is issued 3 handguns, 1 Sig SP2022 which is the official side arm of the French Police (which they apparently just don't use) and 2 Glocks, one 17 and one 26.One carried on the chest usually and the other on the leg.

I believe that's right.

So if there is only one G17 the caption was wrong, not a wall full of Glock 17s (plural).

I guess they all look the same to someone how doesn't know or care about guns, like most journalists.

If it's a black handgun and looks kinda modern it's a Glock, even when it's a Sig.

It was probably used at one of the Tactical Response training classes. I think I can still see some gravel embedded in the grip.

As someone who just changed out a rear sight without the proper jig, I can assure you it didn't fall off.

It has a blue tag attached to it through its lanyard hole, which I presume is a repair tag.

In other news, French police Glocks have lanyard holes. You can see one also in the Glock on the far left as well. Hard to tell on the closest Glock.
