How many magazines needed for IDPA ?

Might be...how the heck do you get a Jasper, Indiana way down here and a Jasper County that far north? Only in the Midwest, I guess! lol

We also have a match every 3rd Sunday morning in Batesville. (I-74 between Indy and Cincy) We "might" have a classifier in November but either way we start back up in April.

I just bought a M&P 9mm. It came with two mags. Seems like most say you should have at least 3. So does this mean I won't be using it this season to shoot IDPA? Seems like the supply is dried up and rumor has it that S&W are 6 months away from filling back orders.

a lot of stages do not need more than one reload..
you also might find someone to loan you a mag when it is your turn.

Absolutely you can run with 2- more is ideal, but 2 is all that is necessary. IDPA courses can only be 18 rounds max. Being in SSP you can load 10+1 on the first mag and 10 in the mag thereafter. Plenty to get you through.

In the event that MD come up with weird loading cofs, well, they'll just have to be patient while you load. No big deal.

And, really, if a guy in SSP has to go to his third mag, things have gone VERY badly on the COF and he'd probably do well to hang it up for that stage anyway
