As I never seem to finish anything, my wife has ceased giving me 'projects' to do. Projects are just too involved for me. Instead, she gives me 'tasks', which are bite-sized little things she would like me to do... relatively soon. Example: Paint the living room is a 'project' involving several simple 'tasks'. One weekend my task may be to patch the holes (she put) in the wall. Simple. Mud, knife, sandpaper... done. Oh, she has tried (for 38 years) to get me to do 'projects'. Refinish the trim in our bathroom was one of them. I took it all down in 2008, and stacked it on the bench in the garage. It still had the original nails in it, and was still laying on the work-bench when we sold that house in 2020. I did get one of her projects done in a timely manner. She wanted two pot-lights in the living room replaced with ceiling fans. I called an electrician. Done in one day!
