how much are Sig P220's worth?

Just asking to hear some responses. Thinking about buying a friend's P220, if he decides to sell it. It's an older Sig without the tac rail. He has Trijicon night sights on it, along with houge grips, and a set of the hex head screws on it. How much are older sigs like these actually go for?

What's he asking for it? I never put a price on someone else's stuff. I carried one for a while and I really liked it. The only drawback was the size and weight versus the amount of ammo it carried. Very nice gun though.

I agree with ^ the guy above me. The CPO versions are usually going for about 500-550$ range.

Well I won't price his gun, but my local shop sells the W. German Sigs with night sights and 2 mags for

Sig 226 - $425
Sig 220 - $450-480

They are worth nothing. Nothing at all. What is the guys name and number? I, uh, need another paperwieght. Yeah thats it.

Seriously somewhere between 420 to 525. Depending on there condition.

I'd put it in the $450-500 range, because the night sights add a bit to the price. I purchased a Arizona DPS (Highway Patrol) trade-in back in 1996 for $399.

i forgot to mention, he also has two other sets of grips for it. The factory plastic grips, and another set of houges without the finger grooves. He also has the case, original grip screws, and two extra stainless mags that are for the 220R. Would this add to any of the gun if he decides to sell everything together?
