First handgun I ever purchased was a Colt Python, 6-inch, bright stainless. I paid about $750 for it brand new in 1985 or 86. It is perhaps the most accurate handgun I have ever owned. I still have it.

My first handgun was free, since my Dad got it for me for my 18th birthday. But it was a Gen3 Glock 22 w/ Meprolight night sights for $500. Still carry it a majority of the time.
