I just purchased a SCCY on sale for $229 at Classic Firearms on Friday. I like the concept of revolver action simplicity and 11 round semi-auto capacity and after watching some youtube torture tests on it it seems as well built as an AK.

$100 hi point .45, still lives in my bedroom. Never had an issue with it, and my wife loves shooting it, so I imagine it will stick around for a while longer.

When picking out the right gun for you, don't let the cost get in the way of what you really want or need especially if it's only a $500+/- gun
