How not to pull your gun

Fair enough. I was assuming this was not drug related. More alcohol related.

Could be just a dust up exacerbated my alcohol. However, the shooter looks as if this isn't his first homicide and is well acquainted with violence.

After watching the video I bet the blue shirt guy has killed before. He made sure red shirt was KTFTD without much concern.

Red shirt guy goes for his gun. Right punch to the face, red shirt guy turns putting his body between the gun and the guy in the hat. The guy in the hat hits him in the back of the head, brings his arm around and covers the guys eyes with his hand, all while reaching for the gun with his left hand, bringing his right leg up for a fulcrum, and pushing his face back to take him off balance. Red shirt guy releases the gun on his way down. Guy in hat steps back and takes aim. Red shirt guy follows and gets some lead. A few shots to remove the threat, muzzle comes up for a second and 4 more unneeded shots. Not an execution. He was already a corpse. Yes the guy is a bad ass.

Never pull when you are in that close quarters. Unless it is your only hope.
Move back. He was right in that guys power.
