    I remember the Tandy 1000....computer without a hard drive, or the local coffee shop that had one computer that you could rent to use thier dialup.

    Hey I remember phone booths ( my generations cell phones), and we did not have a Color TV until 1969! It was a Magnovox with the "Works in a drawer" So the TV repairman did not have to take the whole set in for repair, just the "works". The most exciting thing was watching the NBC Peacock when some thing was brought to you in "Living Color"!

    Heh, I've got my dad's slide rules. I do predate electronic calculators, nevermind Tandy 1000s. I remember programming an IMSAI 8080 with toggle switches. I also remember the disappointment I felt when a show would come on TV saying "in color" but it wasn't. Took me a while to understand it was because we didn't have a color TV. It's ok, the moon landings were black and white anyway.
