I've seen other threads about people doing this but I couldn't find them. How do you paint or fill in the logos and words on the slides of handguns? I'm interested in doing this and want to use a method that won't start to melt off after shooting a few rounds.

    Thanks for the help!

Fingernail polish... choice of color... apply to desired area, wait a few minutes, then take a cotton ball with fingernail polish remover and remove polish from around the area (not pressing too hard) so that the polish remains down in the stamping but is removed from the area around it.

Also....if you desire to completely remove color from within the stamping, wipe with cotton ball and remover while pressing harder.
    Hope this helps.
I do all my guns this way.
