I know a guy that had a loaded magazine in his back pack when traveling on an airplane.

After three attempts of running the back pack through their scanner without finding the loaded mag they let the person board the plane.

The very next day the mag was discovered when just reaching in a zip pocket for sun glasses.

The guy removed the bullets and took the mag to a UPS store to get them to box and ship it to his house.
UPS store said they could not ship gun parts. He asked them to box it so he could take it to a USPS facility to ship it.

They did box box it and the guy drove to the next nearest UPS store to ship it because the USPS was already closed.
It was describe as machine parts when asked.

    The mag beat him home.

There's the problem. UPS Stores have all sorts of made up rules that UPS doesn't impose on shipping. Best to print a label at home and drop it off at a warehouse.
